Why the Ashby kickback?

The test wasn't meant for state side game.

I remember a guy showed up at Solana Ranch on one of our hunts with his 'Ashby setup'. 750 grain arrow and a griz. His bow was a 50# draw. He missed 7 deer.

The problem was that by the time his arrow got there, the deer he was shooting at had been in Oklahoma for 2 weeks.

This just hit me just right,  couldn't hold back the chuckle lol  :laughing:
Those deer, "THEY GONE!"
