Al,

I used to call myself the same as your handle. I grew up in Tampa, but Uncle Sam has had me all over the world for the last 14 years. Another funny thing is that I worked for UPS too before enlisting. Sure we are not related?

Sorry to here of your misfortune. I've been in your shoes and like others have said, it's no fun. Hope your able to get back to it soon. Enjoy the Spring Break.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8

That really stinks Al, what brand bow was it?

Friend

Certainly pleased to hear you are fine.

You are not alone.

Had an expensive bow from overseas that not only had a lengthy lead time- it was quite expensive.

The top limb broke and blacked my eye. Every one said I got it from my wife. I was not a happy camper with the lead time for new limbs being quite lengthy.

My brother and I were having a heck of a time getting anything to tune out of one of his longbows. Finally, when I was pulling it back, the top limb snapped at the fade. I only got a relatively gentle klunk on the head out of it.

GRINCH

I had a bamboo bow blow up on me bottom limb just dissintigrated, nasty lump on my leg but otherwise ok except for the nerves.

You folks are scaring me!

I'm going to keep a list of all your names that have had a bow blow up on them while shooting then I'm going to check it closely when someone asks to shoot any of my bows...lol

God bless,Mudd

PS: I am grateful that all of you are here to write about it.
