Which quiver for the T/ D Recurve.

Which quiver do you prefer for the T/D Recurve i have a limb bolt selway quiver but when installed the limbs just seem to not sit flush on the riser. I can see just a hair between the limb and riser, is that normal or should it sit perfectally flat against the riser ?

My favorite is the great Northern QD (quick detach) quiver. It is the only one I use on all my takedowns, both recurve and longbow.

Thunderhorn quivers are very nice.I dont use a bow quiver now but when i did i used the two point,bolts up under the limb bolts.They are very well made.

Selway bolt on is my #1 choice,Although it should not have any effect on the limb fit?

i don't think that you should have a gap between the limbs and the riser. i have the kanati pro myself (strap on), excellent quiver

Got the gap taken care of. I didn't have the limb bolts tight enough. just snugged them down and that took care of it.

The limbs should fit flush with the risor except the Black Widows, I heard a few mention that the limb will fit with just a hair of light between on some models.

I like the Eagles Flight Quivers they are light easy to install & once on are Solid.

On most takedown recurves I would use a strap on bow quiver. I find that they will dampen the vibration and quiet down a noisy bow.

Just yesterday a guy came by with a noisy target bow who wanted it fixed. First we put on string silencers which took away most of the noise. Then we put a quiver on the bow and that reduce the noise and vibration also.

It is a fact that a well designed bow quiver will reduce vibration and noise. It can also stabilize a lightweight bow, allowing it to be more accurate. The only downside is that a heavy quiver can alter the point of impact, causing you to have to retune the bow. That's why we at EFA put so much effort in keeping our quivers as small and lightweight as possible.

This is a photo of a Striker bow with our 4 arrow Navajo I, jumbo I quiver. It is one of the bows that shoot better and more accurately with the quiver on the limbs.

I really like the Delta style quivers on my bows the best, there is alot of adjustment without alot of extra weight and allows me to adjust the quiver on the bow to balance out the weight and get the bow sitting correctly in my hand, plus I prefer to carry at least 6 arrows since normally I have a bludgeon for stump shooting and SG-X for small game on my arrows and still have 4 broadheads for the big stuff.

I like the Great Northern Quick Detach on my take down recurve. Make sure you tighten your limbs with the bow not strung and don't overtighten the limb bolts.

GN adjustable length strap on, it fits ALL my bows. It works on any takedown or 1 piece, recurve, hybred, or D bow. And I can take it off once I'm in a stand or blind.

Used GN and Selway in the past but have settled on Thunderhorn lately for all my bows. Top notch product.

I like my Selway slide on over my Selway bolt on and my GN takedown quivers. They are all great quivers, and I use them all, I just like the slide on best.

GN Adjustable Strap on....works fine on both T/D's and one piece bows.

You can get a fantastic one from Zipper for the same cost as most other run-of-the-mill quivers!

I like Thunderhorn 2-point the best. I have used Selway slide-ons, Boas (my second fav) and Great Northern quick detach. The wire brace/connector on those are IN THE WAY.
