i know there are a few reputable builders out there.  which one have the best arrows..anybody can make em purdy, but im loooking for good spine/weight tolerances and durability.  i chose cedar because of the lighter weight..not to keen on heavy arrows..yea, yea, i know the spill on the heavy/liht debate.

the bow i want them matched to is a big jim one pc..54@28 drawn to 26.5.  what spine do i need..55-60??

i have never tuned wood arrows and dont have any to test.  this is where i hope experience comes in and im sure the builder will help as well.

so...show me some purdy shafts to pass the time  :bigsmyl:  ...and reccommend an arrow builder.

Longbow or recurve I would think ya need at least a 28" bop arrow and with a 125 grain point I would say 60-65 if a recurve cut past center. Shawn

Would second Paul Jalon.  My friends Dave Wallace and Randy Irvine are shooting them and they shoot well for me when I tried them.

The best arrows I ever bought were from Wildcat Canyon. Not sure if they are in business anymore.RC

For cedar arrows, both shafts and ready to shoot, I recommend RMSgear.com. They match their arrows to tighter specs than most other sellers. They have sold me several sets that were matched to 1# of spine. Give them a call and see if they have what you need.
