"

I've been having fun working on my first cedars.  Not a professional job by any means but I'm just learning.  Got it tuned just about right.

Thanks Mike, the staining and poly turned out pretty good but I'm not too impressed with my cresting yet.  I think I tried to do too much.  Next one I will scale it back some.  I'm waiting on some white nocks and some turkey feathers from stringstretcher to do the rest of them.  Just wanted to finish one out for some tuning.

Looks good. I enjoy building woods and like to see others work. Your first attempt is way ahead of mine. Good job.

Pretty cool isn't it?  You are in for a whole lot of fun and satisfaction.

The best advice I ever got about making arrows is to make only 6 at a time.  It allows you to make more and different arrows.

I gave up cresting recently because I just never had the patience for it. I tried off and on over the years, but just never could get into it. I always kept thinking to myself this is taking way too much time and there's other things I need to get done. LOL

Great Job on your first one Arky!
It's one of those things that you will either love it or hate it.......there's really no in between.

Now I just spine my woodies down, put an arrow wrap on them and fletch, pretty simple.

Great job! The nice thing about building your own wood arrows is that you can spend as much or as little time on them as you want.
