Well, here goes.  A lot of guys asked to be put on lists for skins that I am waiting for. Then there would be a few behind them and so on.
I've started calling as I get stuff in and 6 out of ten haven't answered at all in a week or have said no thanks, can't buy 'em anymore. I TOTALLY get that, really I understand.
But for me to go through all the searching when I could have sold it on the spot on first come first serve hurts my wallet! For hard to get stuff I can still keep the names i have already listed like gaboon viper, certain rat snakes, etc.. But for common snakes like rattlesnakes, copperheads, bullsnake, that all come in during the spring I really have to get rid of the list thing to make this worth it.
I hope no one is PO'd at me for this, but as I get skins I'm just going to put them up under the sponser's classifieds and go on a first come first serve basis. Feel free to contact me any time. Thanks everyone, and I hope you all understand.

I get it, and I totally agree. You lose money by just waiting around on somebody to s*** or get off the pot. For that reason I don't do lists, you'll drive yourself crazy trying to contact everyone who has ever asked and gives you that "Let me know" response.
Just post them on your ad and sell them as the money gets in your hands.

As long as you're willing to wait list someone for free, you will get deadbeats; just human nature even among this esteemed group.  Require a deposit and most of your problems will go away, guaranteed.

Yep go with a deposit and you will have a lot less problems with people changing their minds.

If a customer wants skins.I have started telling them, if they get the skins,I'll be happy to put them on for them.IT is for the very reasons you mentioned.It does not take long to get a bunch of money tied up in snake skins.
