Need help choosing an aluminum arrow setup for my BW PLX that is 45@28.  Any suggestions?

I love my Arrow Dynamic trad lites because they are so resilient to changes in head weight and different bows.

what is your draw, and what size and weight head do you plan on shooting.  these are all factors in getting the right arrow shaft.

Use Stu's Dynamic Spine Calculator. Used it for my aluminum arrows and they turned out perfect for my bow.

Don't know for sure, but I suspect you'll use a 1916 aluminum arrow.

OS, my draw is 28" and would like to stay close to 125 grain tips.

I would use 2014 X7s cut at about 29.5......

I have a Brackenbury Quest 45# @ 27" which I draw to 27". I use 1916 cut to 28" w/125gr points. Absolutely perfect flight.

I am in agreement with hvyhitter on the 2014's.

Also 1916's would be work well as others have suggested.

I use both shafts at the same draw length and draw weight with 125 grain points.

I think I'd want a little more FOC than you will have with 1916 or 2014's with only 125 grains up front..

I agree. My 28.5 inch 1916's have 150 grains up front. They shoot great from my 48# @ 27" recurve.

I tried some 2016 cut to 30 inches with 125 grains up front and the few like darts.

Yep depending on your draw length I'd say 2016 also. I shoot them and 2114's from my 50 lb. bows. You can also get brass inserts for them from 3 rivers. I use 100 grain inserts and 100 grain tips.

I'd go with a 2016.

All great choices that will work!  I like the 2016 (a little heavier arrow)Stiffer than the 1916 and will hangle a larger selection of broadheads.  I like shooting a specific broadhead depending on the game I'm chasing, and a little stiffer shaft will offer me the choice of changing without changing everything.  Example head over 150gr. require more spine, broadheads wider than 1 1/4" will use a stiffer shaft. and a 1 1/2" two blade probable the most finicky with arrow spine.  I like an arrow that will let me change heads without flight issues.
