Got mine in the mail yesterday. The post office busted the crap out of the case.     The main dvd had some scratches on it, so I hope it's ok. Gonna give it a go tonight. Lookin forward to it!

Well, the dvd was fine! The scratches didn't seem to hurt it any. All I can say is WOW! The Wensel and Mitten brother's done an outstanding job. I can't say enough good thing's about it. Me and my 12 year old son watched the entire movie without a potty break  :D . Job well done!

It is without a doubt one of the BEST investments that you would ever make, and if you don't already own "Primal Dreams".....it would be a very good investment also. These two films, put together by people that truly "walk the talk" are destined to be classics that will continue to be watched by generations yet to come.

Yep.......they are BOTH.......that good !!!! I believe that anything worth doing is worth doing right and the quality of video and narration in these videos are spot on. Sometimes when Gene is speaking........he can reach right into our hearts and minds and pull out the thoughts and feelings so well that it's almost scary.

Congratulations on another "home run" brought to us by Gene, Barry, Mike, Mark and David.....YOU guys ROCK !!!   :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:

I hate to hear about the damaged DVD cases . . . OUCH, there goes my artwork!  At least the meat of the product stayed intact since the scratches haven't prevented anyone thus far from enjoying the show!

My much awaited treasure has arrived intact  :clapper:  I have to ask someone who has watched already.. the disks are not numbered so which one is the beginning? when I start to watch with my wife(a non-hunter/shooter), I don't want to have to switch out right away  :biglaugh:    :archer2:

You want the one with the BIG shed on it.  That is the main feature...the one that says  Bonus Features has...bonus features on it   :D

Marty

I'm beginning to think this DVD is like Bigfoot- not really sure it exists!

Thanks Steve, when we get settled in I want to just go straight through  :coffee:

My copy of "Essential Encounters" arrived. After lunch I took the time to watch it in it's entirety. It is a two disk production and I started with the Bonus Features on one disk which were very informative and entertaining.

The main feature will keep you riveted to your seat. I did pause it at one point while I made some popcorn and then right back into it. There are scenes that a normal man would never see in a lifetime in the outdoors. Bucks that will take your breath away and leave you with your mouth hanging open.

Past, present and future generations are represented in this production, blended into a wonderful journey into the world of predators and prey. It will touch your heart and at times choke you with emotion.

Essential Encounters definitely "IS" essential for every outdoor minded person. You will come away with a better understanding of yourself and your love for the outdoors.

Thank you Mittens and Wensels for another out of the park home run.

Thanks for the kind words Ron . . . a big compliment coming from you sir.

You should have written some of the narration for Essential Encounters Ron; your description of the DVD is on the money.
