The bow, 62"NTN 55#@28" BBO. My draw is 27-3/4". The bow has a small leather tab arrow rest. I shoot woodies. All the arrows I have now are way over spined and I knew that when I tried them. You know, just had to try the bow. So where do I start to get something close?

More about the bow please................self bow? Manufactured bow-what kind etc? Is there an arrow shelf? How deep?

More about the bow.  Bamboo backed Osage. Looks very much like one of Dean Torges's Firestick bows. The arrow shelf is part of the leather wrap around the grip. How much off center it is I'm not sure, would have to try and measure it tonight. The bow was made by an individual, not a factory bow. I would ask the Bowyer if I knew how to get a hold of him.  Thanks Bjorn.

I had a BBO that was around 55# with no shelf cut and I went about 10# lighter spine in wood arrows.I think I shot 40-45# spine,I drew 27".With no shelf it will take a little bit weaker in spine then you might think.I started with the lighter spine and bareshaft tuned them to my BBO.
