As i want to get as much practice for hunting as possible in adition to my normal excercise i like to attend as many shoots as possible at the moment. Was at another shoot at Saturday. Perfect weather, lots of friends in my group and a beautiful setting made for a perfect day.
The organizer is known for his shots to be hard at arrows, one guy in my group lost i think 6 or 7 woodies due to stones and trees next to the target, i was lucky enough to only loose 2 nocks and points, those footings hold up great!

Well, long story short, in the class for Longbows i won and im im sure happy now!

Some pics as a little redemption for my bragging

The shoot was inconjunction with a medival town festival, so there were alot of aparelled archers, too.
Werner was really good:

Ahhh yes, the Germans know how to do it right! I love the old cellar fox shot, and the castle in the background. Someday I would like to make it over there before my time is up.

Good looking shoot, thanks for sharing.

It's always good to see a group of friends having fun flinging arrows.

Nice course and it looks challenging enough to keep it interesting...lol

It sure does look like an awsome shoot!  I almost did not recognise the "Adonis like body" without the brandy balancing...  :biglaugh:

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥
