Walker and I attended our local club's 3D shoot this morning with a few friends. Everyone shot well and, as always, had a great time.

After the shoot, we were hanging around the truck shootin' the bull when one of the guys who coordinates the shoot approached carrying a target. He walked directly to Walker, handed him the target, and told him it was for such a good job on the course.

A huge smile was followed with an enthusiastic "thanks".

On the ride home, out of nowhere, Walker said, "His name is Squirrelly. He's a huntin' skunk."

I nearly had to stop the truck I laughed so hard. As they say, "Out of the mouths of babes."

Reminded me of when I was a kid and helped a buddy of mine skin a skunk he shot...  :eek:  
We got used to the smell pretty quick.  Seems like it took everyone else a couple of days to get used to our smell..
