I love hunting and i prettymuch am in tears at the end of a successful hunt, why?I am sad at the death of a majestic and beautiful creature, also because ai am in awe of the beauty GOD created and thankful that I am successful in my quest.I have walked up to a tiger and killed 2 leopards.

After she said "how sad"

You could have told her: "Well, you'll be happy to know the one we ate tonight was already dead for two weeks when I found it along the road."

Before you decide anything, what good will be done by it?  And will the good outweigh the bad?  Is basking in "being right" worth running down your relationship with her?  Let her be the one who's hard-headed, and you retain your integrity.  This reminds me of the 16-year-old girl who argues with her 5-year-old sister.... isn't it just better to walk away?
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

Same thing happened with my Sister. She swore she would not eat deer meat. After telling me how good lunch was, I let her know it was deer meat. She changed her mind, and had some more. My daughter has eaten it since she was 1, and now asks for it. She even wants it for her daughter.
If it's in your way, move it.

Plumber

I would tell her. maybe she will stay away another 4 years

If you didn't have the common courtesy to tell her before hand then you should keep it to yourself.

but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

I will never feed venison to anyone I know is against it. I have nothing to prove and would not bask in their ignorance. If I didn't like eating beef just because I thought eating a captive animal was wrong and someone gave me it without my knowledge I'd be pissed and have every right to be.  Just my view on it.
My view as well. Anyone invited into my house for dinner, especially family, is given the respect of being told what is being served. I would expect the same respect from them and would never sneak something to someone I cared for, or bother to with someone I did not.

I think this one has run it's course....
