John, these are made with 4 layers loosely bound and as for my bows all in the 55# range i'm having no problems pulling them out or hurting the finish, but my arrows are black and don't have the woodgrain finish.

Cant hardly wait to get down to target building.I've got a truck load of carpet. The only reason John's Centaur didnt come home with me was I couldnt catch him with his back turned.John's a great host and we could only hope to gather more trad shooters to our area! Thanks my brother for a wonderful Saturday evening.Gotta go shoot straight.

Kurt, looking forward to see what we can come up with as for more targets, had a great time.  Is Riley signed up on Trad Gang?

We just had a shoot last weekend.  I am already getting withdrawls from hunting.  The shoots definitely help.  Goo dplace to shoot different bows also.

Frederick,

Where was the shoot located in LA? I have never shot a 3d course but Kurt and Riley are encouraging me to go this year to a few.  One they mention I believe is the Howard Hill in AL. The thing is I get so nerveous in front of people I miss more than I hit    :help:  I'm setting up a makeshift shooting course in my back yard, I have 4 acre of land and 1 1/2 is wooded that i'm making shooting lane in.  I've never had an opportunity to shoot traditional with others so this may help me in my shooting.

great pics.   I grew up in Latimer, which is just across Jim Ramsey Rd. from Vancleave.   My good friend Paul LeBetard still lives there in Vancleave.

Any how,  sometimes I wish I were back,  some interesting woods down there.

Looks like alot of fun. Thanks for sharing, and beautiful bow!

Matt, Small world indeed!  Latimer is probaly 3-4 miles from my house, I live on Jim Ramsey rd. Does your friend Paul hunt?  Maybe we could get together sometimes.  And the woods are different as in thick with briars etc... very frustrating trying to hunt here most game dosn't move till at night fall.

Great pics and a good day.

I will say one thing your integrity is top notch. Not many folks would post them shooting  and then looking for a lost arrow.

Thanks for sharing.
