I have heard about its ability to protect deer from ticks and aid in antler growth.  I am most interested in the tick protection.  So did anyone use it last year and notice any reduction in ticks on there deer during hunting season?  My hunting property is over run with ticks and would love to relieve the deer and myself from the little buggars.

I seriously doubt it, Just a selling scam... The mineral will help with the antlers but only if the deer have good genetics. We use trace mineral blocks from the feed stores for 5$ and have for many years. Mineral will certainly help there over all heath but salt is just a treat.

Good luck!!

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

TG,

Buy some guinee(sp?)hens and let em run loose on your property.sometimes the state will raise them with pheasants/quail and sell them to homeowners.

The important thing to look into for minerals is Potasium, which helps animals digest food.
