50" two tracks ambush recurve.  i have a 60" and 62" recurves and no experience of anything shorter , with 28" draw what should i expect .  pros i can work out ,how about the CONS   thanks  and your oppinions of the   two tracks ambush  thanks again

The best thing concerning stuff like draw length is to call the bowyer himself. Chuck at Two Tracks is a great guy to deal with, and he'll do his best to answer your questions!
Though I'm betting that the Ambush will work fine since it is both a recurve AND forward handle, sporting the characteristics of a short bow able to take a longer draw.

I have not shot a bow 50", but from what I understand, mostly recurves are available with that draw. Horsebows are usually 56-46 inches and will usually accommodate a long draw, due to their design.

Hope this helps, and if not, at least you got a bump  :)

I never tryed a Two Track bow,but I love short bows and I still have a Rocky Mountain recurve with 2 set of limbs making the bow 48" or 50".At my 292 I can feel the stack but the bow is still well usable, for sure not at longer distances.I like to stay at less than 20 yards,25 with my 52" Kodiak Magnums.

Felix,In all honesty the newer short recurves are a vast improvement over the older ones.I have a 52" Kodiak Mag and they do not compare to the newer ones.Shorter risers make the newer ones so much smoother.I've owned 6 or 7 52" Golden Hawks,Unreal to 28-29". I would love to try a 2tracks Ambush and just might soon ! LOL

The Ambush is an awesome bow. I can't help with the 28" draw though, as I draw just over 26". Chuck knows his stuff and his design is excellent, as is his workmanship.

For me to be comfortable and consistent I usually need to shoot lower poundage than I normally do when shooting short bows. I like 60" bows but gotta 52" Hoots that handles pretty good at 45#, everything else I shoot is around 50# mark.
