A silicone pot holder makes a dandy arrow puller.   They run about $6 and work as good as anything!

Check them out ****.

Have heard of using a mouse pad as well... some people can be so frugal, lol.

I spray the front 10" of the arrow with food grade silicone. Never need an arrow puller.

Some of these ol Alaska stumps don't want to let go after they get an arrow.
The silicone pad is well worth carrying around.

I've always cut a 6" square of for loss of words...."shelf or drawer liner"  It's the spungy like liner that my wife used to put in the bottom of some of our drawers.  This stuff works better than anything I've ever used and is soooooooo cheap.

Also works good for keeping things like wetstones, leather stops, etc. from sliding around on the workbench.

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

Some great ideas.  I actually use an old square coaster that is made of about the same type of material as a mousepad and works pretty good.

I use a 4" length of  bicycle inner tube, works great!

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
