Wow, nice pics, really like the one with the fawn and buck.  Did you ever see that big one while you were hunting?

I don't have a trail camera yet, but one is definitely in my future.  I just like seeing deer, doesn't matter if it's from the car, from the deck, from the stand, on TV, or someday off a trail camera out back.  I think it would add another dimension to the game.  It would also be fun and encouraging to see what's really around...

EasyKeeper - Had two encounters with him. The closest was about 60 yards.

Some great pics TJ. Thanks for taking the time to share them.

Trail cameras are just plain fun. If you feel they are an unfair advantage, then don`t hunt the areas you put them.

I would bet my best boots, anyone who says they don`t like them, would find them enjoyable if they gave it a try.

I have one of the cheaper ones, and I find that it tends to spook the mature deer a bit. When placed on a trail, I get a few pictures of the deer unaware, and then soon, they are ALL looking at the camera. Then the activity declines drastically where the camera is placed.

I would have mine out right now, but the cold nighttime temperatures deplete the 6 volt battery, and render it useless. I recently put it out on a coyote bait and the cold prevented it from taking any pictures. When I was removing it from the tree it was strapped to, I realized at least one male coyote had lifted his leg on it, and my hands were now coated with pee.   :knothead:

They can teach a person alot about what lives where. They can also add some joy because, as I said, they are just plain fun.

Trail cameras are awesome. When loading up new pics, its like a drawing for the lottery.

Tom....I love my cam's. The excitement of seeing what the next pic holds, deer, coyote, fox..trespasser etc.

But my real reason for posting is to see if any of the property around you is for sale? LoL

Some real studs there!

To start off let me thank you for the help you have given me with camera selection. I hope I end up with deer even close to those in your picts. Those are some great pictures and they have me fired up to get a camera or two out on my place. Thanks for posting them.
