We are trying to get the wheels turning with trying to get a Trad only shoot in Scott county Va. We need to know an estimate of how many people would be interested in attending this shoot so we can have a number to give the big shots. I would love to see this come together and we need your interest to help us. Thanks

Nathan Killen

Count me in ! I'm just across the line in russell co.

I'll try to make it as long as I have no ball games with the chaps that day!!

We don't have a date. We don't even know if it will ever happen. We are just trying to get the idea out and see if we can get it approved.

I'm always ready for a shoot. Its just that it is pretty hard to commit without knowing when.

I would be interested. Also there are several guys from the Bristol area that would probably go as well.

As long as I'm not working, not putting on one of my own shoots, attending another sceduled shoot I'd come to yours.

Need to know a date & location to make plans.

Could be a possiablity depends on the dates, how many targets, cost, how many days it is, if there is camping and how far it is.    Widow

Sounds like a good idea.  It would really depend upon the timing and schedule.  I know that the popular shoot in Hickory, NC is Memorial Day weekend.  And the S.T.A.R at Sherwood archers in Roanoke is two weeks later in mid-June.  Our group usually travels well to attend shoots but if they stack up too close it is hard to get a kitchen pass and be out another weekend.  Let us know what develops.

Too close to home for me to miss.  I hope you guys can get it nailed down.  Keep everyone informed.

Sounds like you can get the attendance as long as it doesn't happen during the big shoots. Talk to head honchos and see if it could happen then maybe get that tentative date and you will see more commitments hopefully.

As long as you avoid conflicting with ATAR, STAR, and NCTAC and you should be okay.

I have 3-4 that would be interested, depending on the dates. Would camping be available on-site or close by?

Dates will definitley help, we have a quite a few trad archers here near the Roanoke area. But as others have said most of us go to Hickory in May, STAR in June, and ATAR in July. Another thing is gas prices, if they go to $5.00 a gallon this summer, as I've heard they might I think alot of shoots could experience a lower attendance than normal.

mmisciag

I would be interested. I will pack up the bike and ride down. Camping is the way to go for me, so I would need to know about camp grounds in the area.
