i am thinking about getting a kanati bow quiver.  having never used one before, will, or does having one on your bow ( or any bow quiver ) alter your shooting in any way?  thanks for any input.

snow leopard,
Yes it will affect your shooting. If you install the quiver and use the same number of arrows that you will hunt with it shouldn't take long for your internal computer to re-program the difference.

I have a kanati quiver which I really like.  The first thing I noticed was the obvious weight gain to the bow, which actually made it more stable in my hand.  That weight though does alter the bow's balance which I felt for awhile on release.  Lastly it did make the bow quieter. That said, I prefer not to use a bow quiver, but for other reasons.

you will love the kanati pro quiver. especially if you like to not carry anything you dont have to. it fits snug keeps the arrows right where you want em. i did notice a gain in mass wieght but it didnt change the shooting characteristics of my bow. they also looke great on an addiction bow also from aneewakee archery as you see here

I never could shoot with anything on my bow except a nocked arrow. For me it may be mental.   :goldtooth:

I only shoot with a quiver on. I tried shooting with one off , but find out the added weight not only helps me stabalize my bow, but feels good to. Its a mental thing as well. Gary, ya going to Johnsonville this weekend?

If you use 2 blade broadheads try the new Kanati Slim Jim.......Awesome quiver and very light!

I keep try'n bow quivers ,but I can't get used to them. Years ago I always used them, now I like a bare bow....but I keep try'n to find one I can live with......that Kanati is close!

I like a bow quiver on some bows and don't like a quiver on some of my other bows. At least for me it comes down to the bow.

There are a number of good products on the market and I don't think that anyone has a monopoly. Some will work better than others in a particular situation. The best thing to do is go somewhere that you can try a product before you buy it. Maybe you know someone who has a quiver that you can try. Also, there is a wide variation in size and weights, as well as how and where they attach. A lot of guys go through a hald dozen products before they find the one they like. Good luck!    :archer2:    :archer2:
