The lady at the post office here sees me get packages from 3 Rivers, with the archer logo on them. So the other day she asked if I would like to see her bows...
She brought 3 bows to work and lent them to me to look at/shoot. Two were composite bows and the third was a longbow.
Here is one of the composite bows. What does anyone know about this thing? She said it had been lying around her house for a long time.
It is backed with a stippled leather, and the belly has some sort of brown covering on it. It does shoot, but is kind of noisy with the string loops passing over the sides of the limbs. There is some writing on it- "Grozen".

Grozer makes some sharp looking bows.

I love my Horse Bow. I have a Saluki Ibex. Horsebows are fun to shoot. Take a little effort to string. At the right brace height they are quiet.

I see on the Grozer site they list the recommended brace height for each of their bows. I am going to try that and some different arrows.

Matt, like you said, a little effort to string; lots of geometry to line up so as not to twist it.
