So I am thinking a little more about an ILF riser and some limbs someday down the line.  There are so many more options now and on the way.  What I am wondering is how you decide what tiller to use.  What is your tiller adjustment process?  Is this about arrow tuning, sound, feel..............?

I'm not sure about everyone elses setups. I shoot three under and set my tiller even. The brace height is about the same as any bow.The nice thing about ILF is you can adjust all this stuff your self.I do know that the quietest bows i've ever owned are ILF.You may want to give Bob Morrison a call.He can answer any questions you may have. And hes a very nice guy to talk to.Plus he makes the nicest risers around.

Ditto on Bob Morrison. He definitely can help you out.I shoot split and mine is at least 1/8 inch postive on the top limb.Works great for me.Very easy to tune and you will catch yourself experimenting more with an ILF.I really like the adjustability.Like 2Barrels says, very quiet and smoothe espicially if you shoot carbon foam limbs..Enjoy

Is Bob still making the metal risers?  I read someplace he wasn't doing that anymore, and I don't see them on the web site.  He didn't have a booth at the Kalamazoo expo so I didn't have a chance to check them out.

I shoot 3 under and found mine shoot best at even tiller. I like the Morrison in that you can adjust each limb with the bow strung.

So are you all just setting the tiller for split or 3under standard settings and shooting, or do you try different settings?  What are you looking for when you adjust tiller, feel, sounds or what?

Set at standard and shoot. 3 under and even for me. Nock point adjustment while tuning your arrow will usually take care of the rest, nock point effects tiller.

In a pair of limbs they may need adjustment to get the correct tiller since they may be a little off if bolts are backed out the same, different manufacturers make the limbs differently. Some make tiller built in others do not, but with ILF you can adjust it to be what you need.

Olympic and other top shooters adjust tiller a little to help tune, limb flutter and balance at draw, I certainly am not good enough for that shooting barebow for hunting.
shoot straight shoot often

Glad I saw this thread yesterday. I shoot 3 under also and did like how it shooting per the manufacture recommendation.
Read this thread set my till to even and shooting really improved.
