My question is I want to make a 520gr arrow at roughly 29". the arrows I want to use are gt 55/75 traditional,5" shield,wrap,?????? the rest i don't know.So thanks for any and all help.

What is the poundage on your bow at your draw?

gt 55-75 31 in with 100 grn insert and 125 head
with wrap and true flight hi back shields put my arrows  right @ 520 give or take a few grns
i shoot them from recurves with mid 50s draw weights @ 30 in draw

Cut  to 30 and start @  125 gr ~ should get you close

I have a couple friends shooting the same bow at 55#.  I made them up GT 75/95's cut to 30" with a 125gn point.  Black Widows like a stiffer shaft.  We tried to get the 55/75's to shoot but cut em down to 28 1/8 and still needed to take another 1/2" off to make them right so that is when we made up the 75/95's.

you can always add more water. just don't glue till there right

gt 55/75 is 9.3gpi, which is about 270gr for 29", then add in about 35gr for the nock, insert and feathers = 305gr.  100gr adapter and 125 point and yer good to go.

it should go without mentioning, but i will anyways - you need to finalize any arrow spex with yer shooting!  you may find out all the arra charts and calculators don't mean squat when compared to yer own real world testing.  

I agree with Rob.  Stu's calculator will get you close but, for me, it's never been exactly right.

I would disagree with the "don't mean squat" statement. Stu's calculator does mean a lot more than squat. A lot of time and educated thought has gone into this to help us get close with our arrow set. Yes, it doesn't always put you right on the money. But it does always, in my experience, put you darned close.
Just my "real world" experience.

I agree with Rob.  I'm shooting a 53# at my draw Thunder Child with a 500 spine carbon cut to 29" with 100gr. insert and 250gr. points and they fly perfect for me but all the charts and calculators show them way underspined.  I would be more focused on an arrow that shoots well and is at least 9gr per pound then trying to get an exact weight.  Some bows the perfect arrow for me was around 9gr per pound and some the perfect arrow is 14gr per pound, doesn't bother me as long as it shoots good.
