Will they work on a medium wrist grip? What I mean is will they lay flat or tight in the throat and everywhere throughout a grip like this?

Yes, I have a suregrip on a BW PAX w/Asbell grip, putting them on however is not fun.

Tom:  I use em on my PL's so I can build up a grip.  They work great but as David said they can be a bit of fun to get on.

Have ya thought about doing a custom leather "made wrap" ?  They are pretty easy to do and can make your bow look neat.  I have done several from simple to "well made" and they work... Here are two pics of my MA with a simple leather grip.

A little tough to get on, but they will lay flat.

Thanks guys, Bruce really am interested in a leather grip but first wanted to use the rubber one to just see if I liked the extra girth it put in my grip.

I recently put one on my 1990 CKTD. To make installation a little easier, I soaped up the handle and put 1/8 inch cord thru it to help pull it up. It made a different bow out of it and I wish I had done this a long time ago.

The leather I use is the same thickness as the sure grip...  I mean its real close to the same.  I did not notice any difference from bare riser to leather grip...

Heck, if ya like it drive over here and I'll put one on for you.  I think I have leather around...  The stiching I use is smaller and I think it looks better.. It takes a little bit of time cause ya have to soak the leather and then let it dry in place but could be done in an hour or two.....

Yes they will stay tight against it.

Thanks for the offer Bruce. I'll give one of these rubber grips a go and see if I like the added girth then decide.

Also in the heat and during a long day at the 3-D range is sweat and slippage an issue making the leather a better choice?

Tom they are all I use now. I found the ones from Eclipse a little better for me. I put one on my Dad's take down and it works well. I love them for the early season hunts we have here as well as summer shooting. I have no issues withthe sweat as well. The ones that Eclipse makes have little dimples on them, they help out even more. p.s there is a broadhead on the way next week I will throw the extra grip I have in with it for you to try if you want.

We use mtn bike inner tubes-they work great!

the sweat and slippage were definitely a factor for me, I took the shurgrips off and used tennis handle wrap.   you can get various compositions, I use the one designed to absorb sweat and stay tacky.    plus much easier to put on, and a softer feel.

but only on bows that had no grip.  if they have a leather grip I prefer that

I have not noticed any problems with sweat or slippage.  I must admit I carry a small towel for 3D cause I sweat a lot.  I always wipe my hands off...  I know I do it without thought when hunting.

I am another guy who really likes the rubber grip.  I have used shur-grips frome 3 rivers and just as many bike innertubes.  I roll them into a donut and use two cords to help get them on and have had no trouble with slippage or getting them to lay flat.  Been using them for 8 years now.  

I may have to look at the ones eclipse has got.
Different colors (like brown) in a scale pattern would be really sweet.

There is no smell with the eclipse made ones. I couldn't stand my hand turning black, that's why I swithched from sure grip. Just roll into the donut and roll up or down the bow. wasn't too bad.

They will lay flat and smooth....a real b#&th to get on, I used a bit of WD-40 to make it easier....

Have used them on a number of bows over the years.  I think it'll fit your bow like a glove TJ.

The extra girth helped the feel of the PAX grip for me which is too narrow in the throat.
