I really like that. I think I will make one just like it. Thanks

Looks good, I'll have to copy that also.

Very nice, I did the same thing here on my wall in Spain, hope i can get some pics up soon! Only difference is the 2X4 was a dark stained piece on sale, but because I drilled the holes to match my arrows, i use my broken arrows in dark stain as pegs, match perfect! Another tip is you can buy a roll of sticky sided felt and cut into strips to put onto the arrow pegs, gentle on your bows and holds them better!

Another idea
I went for cushioning the bows by using 1/2 inch dowels for the pegs and then cutting a piece of foam pipe insulation to slip over the peg. Not fancy, but is very quick and effective. Keeps from scracthing/rubbing the bow finish where it sits on the peg every time.

What is a safe way to lay them on the pegs?Belly down? Back down? side ways? Strung or unstrung? I plan on making one of these and don't want to lay them the wrong way and possibly warp a limb. What would be the best way? Thanks in advance.

Depends on what type of bow it is. You'll notice my all wood bows are unstrung. I belive most modern glass bows it is ok to leave strung(in a mild temp). Belly up or down, doesnt matter I believe.

This design could also be mounted horizontally and bows hung from it vertically. Not all my bows stay strung so I went for the horizontal.

Yep I did the same thing with some red oak and dowels.  Its full so I may need another before long.  Two of the bows are my sons.
