I picked up some pine boards and poplar dowels at Lowes today. Very simple but functional bow rack. I think the whole thing was probably less than $10.00.

I like that one, mind if I copy it?
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

Uh-oh. I notice that you stil have a few pegs not being used. I'm thinking you might want to order a few new bows soon to make that rack look complete.

Yeah, I was going to say, there are a few empty stalls there!

That is nice and simple.  I need to do that very thing for my 3 sons' longbows.

The pegs are 7/16" and I used a drill press so they would be straight. Pegs are about 3 1/4" long and placed every 6". I mounted the boards with 1.5" screws counter sunk.

I left room for expansion of course. Like when they widen a street? I always think, "Now why didnt they just make it this wide 10 years ago?"

I knew there would eventually be more bows filling those slots.

Copy away guys.

Nice rack!  I tried the exact same thing last summer but I didn't have a drill press. Needless to say mine didn't quite turn out as nice and it found its way to my fire pit.
Good Job
