Was wondering who out there really likes the old greenheads.

It would depend on the year head you are asking about, as over the years the design improved. There are similar heads now that are probably stronger. That being said, there is something to be said for hunting with those heads and a vintage Bear bow. Pretty cool, and the greenies put down an awful lot of game. I like em'.

Its all I use killed 2 deer with them last year my first two trad kills. One with bleeder one without I find them art yard sales etc.

I love em and use them a lot.  I like the greenies better than the newer dark greenish/blueish ones.  Those are too hard to sharpen.  But, with some digging you can still find them.

My favorite also I always wondered why they quit making them

The old Bear Razorheads are easy to sharpen, fly true and have killed many a critter.

I hear rumors about them being made again, maybe by this fall. we'll see

I still have a dozen of the original yellow bear arrows with greenies on them from the 60s that my stepdad gave me about 10 years ago. They are so cool! Even in the original box.

With Bear's new interest in traditional archery again it would be great to see the original Razorhead return. I've killed a couple of critters with them and have no complaints.

I am looking at my old Bear heads, there are a few dark green ones the rest are tan. they are very deadly for deer.

Arwin

I used one on a woodchuck last summer. Great penetration and hole size. A little weak in the ferral/tip but a good performer overall.
Just one more step please!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
