I have an email sent to Dave & Beth but still waiting for the reply. Thought maybe someone here might already know. Are the takedown longbow limbs interchangable with a takedown recurve riser? Can you interchange the recurve and longbow limbs with the same riser? Similar to say a Bob Lee.

no the longbow and recurve limbs don't interchange.  i do think however that all the longbow limbs will fit any longbow riser. most of the recurve limbs need to be sent to dave so he can fit them to individual risers.

hope that helps

A Gobbler yelp Spring or Fall is a long conversation.

Any photo's of their take-down longbows.

I haven't found anything on their website about them.

If you email beth will send you a bunch of pics. Thanks for the info. Bummer, I already had my bocote limbs w/ elk antler tips picked out if they were interchangable.   :knothead:

Kevin,

What are the specs on that beauty?

limbow

Good evening Dave! It is 62", 56#@28. Your welcome to wrap your hands around it and run some arrows through it. It's awfully quick.

Kevin,I might have to take you up on that this spring. Thanks!

Bjorn, that is a beauty for sure! Is she smooth at the 60"length?

Bjorn

Yes it is very smooth. I draw 27.

J. Oles

Great looking bow's guys.

How does the 62" do out to 29"?

Jason

Nala

Boy they sure are pretty bows.  I have admired them ever since I picked up my first copy of Trad Bowhunter mag.

The only sad thing is that I don't have enough money to get one.

ok, I gotta quit looking at these pics. I'm getting that "bug", "itch" or whatever you call that feeling...

I picked up a used 3 piece  and I love it!  It's really snappy and the riser's grip feels like it's part of your hand.  The limbs are snake skins and the riser is 1/2 charcoal and 1/2 walnut.  They are awesome bows!

These bows are very nice,I hope to have one someday.

Keith Zimmerman

I hope to have one myself someday.  I am still waiting to see Kums San's that he just got.

Maybe Kevin can making a comparison between the LB and the recurve,he owns both!
