The weather has been so terrible around here for so long, it's almost been impossible to spend any time in the woods.  But yesteday was so nice, I figured we couldn't pass it up....so we hit the trails...

We had to stay on the snowmoble trails to be able to walk. Which limited our shooting opportunities, but we still had a great time...

Shootin at the broken branch coming off the main trunk...
•
•

My big blunt blasted right thru(Cade thought that was pretty cool), Cade hit the main trunk. Also a hint of what happened when we stepped off the trail...
•

The bigger the stump meant less lookin in the deep stuff!

•

more coming...

keep workin on the burst. some cameras have a 3 round burst , which is usually more predictable than continuous. my cousin and i used my panasonic lumix lz8 on 3 round burst , and caught his glock 17c breathing fire.

i cant wait till my boy is old enough (2 in april) , to go out stumpin like that. hes gettin a bow ffor his birthday , but i dont know if he'll be ready this year or not...

a+ , they need to change the slogan to "take TWO kids hunting"

Nice little bow Cade has there and great pics.
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

definitely a chip off the old block... Enjoy Curt, won't be long before you will be dragging that young mans first deer out for him.  Looks like he can use your camera pretty well also, he got some good shots of you in action.
