Order in with Maddog Archery. One recurve pup at 21# for my 8 year old and one 32# mid size recurve for my 13 year old. I don't know who's more excited me or them! I still can't get over the value of these bows, both shipped for under $300. Boys are pretty excited to be getting these to replace their Greatree's they are shooting now. I think their old bows will end up as club bows for other new archers but may just take them to cottage and leave them there.

I can't think of a better gift you could give your sons. They are sure going to enjoy them.   :clapper:

What a deal. Those folks over at Mad Dog got it going on. Glad to hear that someone is building quality bows for the younger archers at a good price. Keep up the good work. We still wanna see pics.................

Excellent job bigugly!!!

One thing I have learned when outfitting my two boys is I have NEVER regretted spending money on good equipment for them.

It is indeed the arrow that must fit the bow, but shooting a nice bow is a treat EVERY time.
I gaurantee they will carry the memory of those bows for the duration.      :notworthy:

Awesome! Now it may be cheaper for you to get them crafting their own arrows, now you have three different spines to buy.

I placed an order a few weeks ago with Mike, as a surprise for my little girl.

And let me tell you, he is first class...

Now I need to round up some shafts, feathers points, and have her craft some arrows for her new bow..

Its still a surprise...

Very fun, post some pics when they arrive.

Yeah going to have to check out the arrow charts and buy some 4" feathers. They have always just shot my cut down wrecked arrows or ones that get thrown out at club. Have always seemed to work for them but this time around I think I'll order some proper arrows and get to work on them.

Please post some pics when you can.  I'm sure the kids will enjoy their new bows.
