Every night on my days off from work....the urge to step down into the shop and shoot about 30-40 arrows into my large pillow bag. Usually around 8pm at night after a good cigar the urge to shoot hits.
Lately I have pounding the bag with my old Browning Cobra....turkey season just a few short months away.

I've heard it said that Christianity is a crutch.  To me, it's a walking stick to use on the path of life.

When I get the urge to shoot I just open the basement door and go downstairs and shoot.

Doesn't matter if it's raining, 90 degrees, snowing, or even dark outside. -I'm pretty lucky right now. It has not always been this way for me.

I appreciate the ease of it. I wish it could be that way for everyone.

I have a front porch 55 feet long, so even when it is bad weather I can observe my craving to shoot, which is most often everyday even sometimes at odd hours.  One reason I shoot mostly a bow in mid 40's weight.

swifty99

Yep, it happens and something about just kind of makes the stress melt away.

Kenneth

I feel like that now but I've been out of commission with a fever of 104 degrees all week and I'm still pretty weak but I'm gonna give it a try later.

I've gotten out of bed on several occasions to see how a certain arrow or head flies or to do some tuning or tweaking.  Yep I got it bad.
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

I can shoot 8-9 yards in my basement all the time. Too hot or cold I go downstairs! Yeah, there are lots of times I walk down those stairs cuz I just gotta' shoot.....

NYArrow

I do it almost every night. I may be 11pm before I get a single minute to myself...and it usually begins knee deep in snow, in 10 degree temps flinging arrows in the dark.
Choose this day whom you will serve...as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

So happy me is out there having a blast.   :biglaugh:   Only because it is pure truth.
