New Shrew

Which bow are you guys talking about, there all very handsome bows. Tim let me post my bows on this thread so we would'nt have a bunch of shrew threads. I know a few more shrews were sold, lets see them.

I believe I got a chance to shoot that one friday night at Kalamazoo. All the Classic Hunters shot great !!!

It's been a while since I've seen or shot that bow. I'm a little surprised Ron let it go. I'm not a lefty, but it was a very nice shooter. Congratulations on your addition. I've seen two Limited editions sold here. Very rare find.

Ray, I know I'll regret letting that bow go, it was a very special bow. You probably remember when I first got it I did a shooting demonstration for the Sportsmans Club in Iron Mountain. You were there to throw targets for me and the bow did a good job for us that day. Then of coarse there was the "Deaf" buck that I took on the hill above camp with it and still get razed about...

I told Dave how the bow got it's name. One evening when I was trying to think of a name for my new bow, a falling star streaked across the sky. I took that as a sign and had John draw a falling star and the name "Shooting Star" on the bow.

I don't have the bow anymore but I still have the memories.

The last year and a half or so Ron would have #13 at Kzoo and Comptons and would always let shoot the bow. I really appreciate it and thanks again Ron.

I do remember you using that bow up at Iron Mountain for the shooting demonstration. It worked very well. A lot of guys think that all the talent lies in the shooter at hitting arial targets, but in reality, it's the thrower who has to time the throw and put it right where the shooters arrow is going to go. :rolleyes:

Actually, I also remember you shot very well with everything except the aspirins--that is until we got some dark trees in the background so you could see the aspirin better-then you made short work of it.

It's interesting that way back when we were shooting a shooting course after you first got that limited that I shot it and really liked it even though you put the shelf on the wrong side and you said "you would like the 60" model". Of course that's my favorite lenght Shrew right now. I guess I should have listened to you long ago.

I have those same highly figured bubinga veneers on one of my Shrews. It is gorgeous. Congratulations on a wonderful bow. You will love it!
