I had the chance to shoot a Hill Country Wildcat hybrid longbow at the Kazoo show last weekend. I shot close to 20 bows and this one was by far my favorite. Super good craftsmanship and performance. This was the quietest bow that I have ever shot. Absolutely loved it and plan to order one soon. Does anyone out there have any experience with this bow?

I'll do a search on here as there were several other threads recently asking about them.

Doug S. uses one in his "Lettin Loose" video to kill a couple turkeys. Doug also won some sort of competition with one.

I first shot the Wildcat the end of last summer and was real impressed.  I have been trying to get my hands on that bow again for months.  If the 64" at the show was a 62" I would have walked off with it Friday night.  I talked to Roman yesterday to go over the details of my new Wildcat.  The harvest master is also a great bow.

I have shot many of his bows and prototypes. You won't find a better guy or better craftsmanship. Very nice bows.

Kenny, Great meeting you and talking about the Hill Country bows with you. I can't keep that 64" camo Wildcat hybrid out of my mind. I have a 2010 Centaur that I am thinking about selling in order to buy the H.C. Roman seems like a top notch guy too.

You won't find a better bow at any price. Hill Country's are one of the most unknown bows out there and his finish work is unbeatable and can only be matched by a Thunderhorn. Hill Country's perform as well as they look with them being the only bow I can honestly say is hunting quiet without silencers. I've got to get a Wildcat before Roman gets backed up to a year. I've narrowed my bows down to Hill Country, Thunderhorn, Black Canyon, Centaur and A&H in no particular order. I've owned "HUNDREDS" of bows so I've tried almost all of them.

I shot the Wildcat at Kalamazoo and talked with Roman a bit about it.  I decided to go with another bow, but Roman seems like a great guy to deal with.  According to my personal taste, I thought the Wildcat was the prettiest bow at the Expo.

I shot plenty of bows there and I kept gravitating back to Roman's.  They are fast, quiet, and the workmanship is great.

There may be a Wildcat in my future.  One more bow to check out.

To your question Robert, I bought a Harvest Master for my wife last summer.  It's smooth and fast.  No hesitation from me on recommending Roman.
