Bill Tell

That is great story to go with a great head.

Stumpkiller

That is beautiful.  Need to find a cane arrowshaft for it.

That's a great looking head.

Archery is a family sport, enjoy it with your family.

I agree with stumpkiller.  Think it would work very nicely in a cane shaft.  Or, if you know a machinist, could perhaps machine down and thread the stems so they would fit a standard insert.

Night Wing

Wicked looking broadhead. How much does it weigh in grains?

I would be afraid to loose them too.  Maybe you could make a couple of "presentation" type arrows.  Fancy, go-to-meeting type arrows that hang on the wall.  That way you could use and show them but not risk loosing them.  They are beautiful but probably more valuable as a memento from your friend than as a working head.  Lots of good working heads around, not many hand made damascus broadheads.

LONGSTYKES

Great pics, I agree with Easykeeper. Set them up for show arrows. Would be a good project for the winter and be very awesome show pieces. Don

Awesome stuff, I would definitely use one of them.

Swamp Yankee

I could be wrong, but that looks more like a presentation/re-enactment broadhead to me.  I'd want to know it was strong enough to hold a sharp edge before using it for actual hunting.

Those are cool,  looks like he knew what he was doing.  I would at least try to sharpen one and see what kind of edge it will take.

Cool !!! I would have to sharpen and use them for a special hunt !

Your friend has some good talent and should Mass produce them...I like the looks of them and as long as it finds it's way to a Moose, Elk,Caribu,Whitetail,Bear,Antelope,Pig, Buffalo,or even a Chipmunk it was well worth the time  he put in making those heads and they were made to be shot not to collect dust...Shoot it and loose it so someone else might be able to "USE IT"...  :goldtooth:
