how much arrow weight should i have for turkeys? right now i have about 535 grains of arrow with a 2 blade head at a 30"draw at 50#. will this be suitable for turkey?

That will work fine. Anything you use for deer is perfect for turkeys.  I would probably use a big 3 blade head but any sharp broad head will work just fine

I agree arrow weight should be fine and I also agree about the 3 blade.  Turkey vitals are small and I love my Snuffers when spring rolls around!!

More than "enough", but turkeys are tough!  I'll agree with the above comments about big multi blades as well, you have enough, especially with that ling draw to send more bh through one.

Any bh will kill them, but the more bh you have on "not so good" hits, the better off you'll be....

Your setup is plenty for turkeys. An arrow stuck in the vitals in the turkey is a good thing IMO. They can't run as easy carrying an arrow. All mine have been complete passthroughs. May try bone BH's if I get to go this year.

Don't expect to just blast thru them. My experience has been even with a heavy bow you usually knock them sideways absorbing alot of the energy.

From what I read, your set-up is far too light.  The turkey wingbone threshold is 608 gns.

Just pulling your tail feathers. That(608 gns) just happens to be my turkey arrow set-up. You should be in good shape. Note: I only use the larger 3 blade heads. Normal reasoning has many think small game - small head. Not so with turkeys, unless you can consistantly pinpoint and hit a dixie cup sized drop-dead zone on a possible moving, rotating and different postering of this magnificent critter.
