For those of you that just want a bare bones hunting bow,and don't care about exotic hardwoods or fancy veneers. Here you go!Our hunter model is available in the S-Hunter (SXT riser) or Z-Hunter (ZSR riser). You can get brown or black dymalux, with brown or black glass. The cores are action wood. This limb is our classic limb, with a slight wedge change to up the performance a bit. This is the limb that was on every Zipper from 1982-2009.
The finish is the flattest finish I can get.It also has a textured finish to knock down the shine even more. The textured finish will also help keep the grip from getting so slick with gloves on.They will sell for $600 and have a 2 year warranty. You still get the Zipper quality, just not the fancy wood.
If you are looking for a no frills hunting bow with the max amount of performance. You can keep the dymalux riser and upgrade to the carbon and foam Evolution limbs. This upgrade adds to the price, but you will be hard pressed to find a better performing bow.Especially at that price. The Hunter riser with Carbon and foam Evolution limbs will be $830.
We will have these two bows at Kalamazoo if anyone wants to come by and shoot them.OH, and by the way we will have several Fancy bows there also.

Now thats what i'm talkin about. When I drive nails, i use a hammer, When I trim a horses foot, I use nippers, when I play bluegrass i use a mandolin (most time). They are the right TOOL for the job. Thats what a bow is to me. A tool to kill game or the 12 ring.

Bill, I think you might be on to something here my friend. Very nice. Don

Atta boy Bill, this should appeal to lots of us. I went through a "cycle". Used to shoot fancier and fancier bows, nice but hate to scratch them. Now I've gone quite the other way, save money, shoot a plain Jane, and take the savings on a trip to hunt something cool.
Your bows already speak for themselves, so everybody knows the performance is there.
