can i remove old wood arrow finish?

well i got some arrows and there mostly all have been finished. some solid orange some white caped and then a couple new shafts. is there any way to remove the old finish on the shafts without damageing them? i wanted my 1st batch of woodies all to match.almost forgot, there cedars

ill give that a try. anyone know of something i could use that id have layin around the housse? would sand paper work?

I have done it many times. I just put them in a dip tube and fill it with lacquer thinner, which will strip most any arrow finish, and after a few minutes just wipe off the old finish. You may have to put them back in if it all doesn't come off after the first soak.

Sanding is a lot of work and may affect spine. Wear rubber gloves and keep air circulating if you are stripping the finish with chemicals.
