Wondering has anyone experienced any problems to a bow because it was shipped in the middle of the summer to a hot climate, this considering the precautions against leaving a bow in a hot compartment in summer?  I would think not since bowyers do it all the time, but wouldn't mind getting some feedback....

I live in the Northern Territory, and have never had a problem. My bows are in warm to hot conditions nearly all year long, in shipping transit, in the bush, in the back of the ute (unstrung) and hanging on the wall. Bowyers don't send their bows strung, so it's all good.

Not a problem if you pack it well without putting a lot of tension on the limbs.  The only time a bow is in danger is when it's strung and heated too much.

Thanks for the info.  Couldn't hear from more knowledgeable sources....
