Just wondering if any of you fellars would know the value of a Sovergien Ballastic 46@28.  It is about a 7.5 out of 10 as far as cosmetics goes.  The guy is asking $300.  Is that pretty fair?

I would think that would be a fair price. I had a Sovreign Sonoran longbow and it was a very nice bow that was a real performer. I have never shot a Ballastic but I have heard they were nice bows that also were very fast.
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

It is a nice bow.  I am a longbow guy and don't know much about the curves.  A friend of mine is looking at one and he is new to trad.  I just wanted to get a ballpark figure.

John made a great shooting bow, in both recurve and longbow.  I think that $300 is fair.

They are no slouch on speed either. John made some fine bows.

I've got one for sale at 550 so I'd jump on it.  There won't be anymore made.

I'm not putting up with this guys shit and dogging me.

Fazio's Ballistic is one of the finest performing bows I've EVER shot. The limb design is quite possibly the best I've ever seen.
That being said, the two I've owned had VERY delicate limbs, very easily twisted but also easily straightened.  I can't say about how his bows have evolved, but I didn't like the finish at all either. Kinda splotchy. But that was YEARS ago, he may have taken care of that now.
It is the fastest recurve that I've ever shot also.
For 300, if you dont buy it I will. Last one I saw on the auction site went for well over 500.00.
