The short aluminum glue on broad head adapters say they are to be used with broad heads with bleeder blades. Will it hurt anything to use them with regular 2 blade glue on broad heads? Basically I just want to know if it will hurt the performance of the broad head if the adapter doesn't go all the way down the ferrule?

No, it won't.

I've been using glue-in/glue-on adapters (formerly just called Flightmates) for a lot of years now. I've never once had a problem with them.

Sweet, that's just what I needed to know.        I want to use the new 115 grain LW Grizzly with a 32 grain short insert. This will give me a 147gr tip.

I have seen the short adapters on a hard hit drive the BH on up on them splitting the ferrule of the BH like a wedge does to wood.

The longer adopter makes it easier to get a good alignment as well.  The short will work just fine, but I like the idea of the easier alignment and extra stength of the full length adopters.
