I met Harold and his brother last year at Comptons. Talked about bows and a bit about God, and a bit about his health. We have corresponded since then. Harold never really complained about the Cancer or the treatments. I would ask after his health every so often and check in after the treatments to see how he was feeling, and to try and keep his spirits up. He would change the topic off himself and ask about me and how i was doing. I know he is with the Lord and in a far better place than us. I'm gonna miss you Harold. Truly a nice man and a gentle man. I'll be keeping his brother in my prayers now in this hard time. Rejoice in the Lord my friend.

Harold was a wonderful man. I will miss him and will treasure the beautiful bow hanging on my rack that he built for me. God is smiling with Harold's arrival in heaven.

Prayers to family and friends.

Harold continues to be an inspiration to me on my quest for my first trad kill.  I started trad one year ago, and I purchased a beautiful 1959 Kodiak Special from him.  We kept in contact since and he gave me encouragement on this adventure.

Unfortunately I will not be able to tell him about that first trad kill when I finally deliver.  I like to think he'll be there in spirit though.

Thank you Harold!
