I've had a great season so far, but have been unable to meet my goals buck wise.  Due to alot of things, I have not been able to hunt since November.  Finally tomorrow, I get to had back to Pike County to try and outsmart a couple of really good ones I saw this season.  What a relief.  It was a long December.  Good luck to those still hunting!

Hey Rob....long time!  No, I can't make it to Texas this year.  I'm really getting dug in with whitetails around here, and trying to get more areas to hunt.   I'm saving my hunting money for that.  Not to mention that I will probably draw an Iowa tag next year.  I hear you are going back to Namibia!  I'd like to hear about that.  I'm hoping for 2012 or 2013.  We will see how it goes!

Jon,

Any information on Namibia would be greatly appreciated.

I am planning on combining a church mission trip there with a hunt either this year or next.

Thanks & good luck on getting that nice IL buck!
