Anyone have a strung profile pic of this bow?  I am trying to narrow down my choice for the new bow for the year and this is one of the current choices.  A side by side of this one and a Whip Classic would be even better.  Dan doesn't have a lot of pics on his website.

I own 2 of them and do not have a strung picture but can tell you the bow has a classic "D" shaped profile when braced. I would add that concerning performance and manners they are superb Hill style bows.

Thanks, Matt, I knew someone would come thru for me.

Now comes the two hardest parts, picking just one and saving the money.

Do you have the chance to shoot each?  If not ask Dan if he has a "loaner" of each and shoot them.

To me they really shoot differently,  the Whip is a tad faster, a bit more "dead" on release,  and equally quiet.  Mine is a bit more spine tolerant as well as the shelf is cut to or closer to center.

The Super D is the best of the D shape bows I have shot with no noticable shock, only a very, very slight and not unpleasant "thump" at the end of the stroke.  For me the Super D, especially with the newer grip (he changed the grip slightly a few months ago)  points a bit more natural,  but thats very subjective.

Best to shoot both if at all possible if you have to choose only 1.

I've shot the Classic Whip but haven't had the chance to shoot the D bow.  I love the classic lines of the D bows and need one with minimal shock.  Having a hard time deciding between going with the slightly more pronounced Classic or the D bow from Dan or the Northern Mist Baraga.
