Thinking of getting one, need some opinions from anyone who has one or shot one. Thanks, Mac

Hey Mac,
I have a Dalaa. I shoot it as well as any bow I've owned and better than most. It's quiet, smooth and quick.
I've had it on the back burner for a while but it's a shooter for sure.
Try one if you can.

I know you're probably looking for first hand, but yesterday I met a guy at the range practicing for his upcoming indoor shoot.  Got to talking about bows of course, but he couldn't say enough good things about his Dalaa.  He absolutely loves it.

I have one and can honestly say, for me, it is the best shooting bow I own. I can also honestly say that soon it will more than likely be the only bow I own, with a few sets of limbs of course. I like the fact that the limb attachment system is more solid than an ilf and the limbs don't fall out when unstrung, yet I still have the same flexibility as any ilf system. There is a broad selection of handle types so you can find the one that fits you best. If your into the latest technology? you can use a wide range of olympic target limbs       as well. Shoot off the shelf or use a flipper like I do, up to you. The only drawback I can think of, if it is one, is that overall the bow weighs a little more than most takedowns. I don't think you can go wrong with the Dalaa though, they seem to hold their resale value and go quick if you should decide its not for you.

Turkeys Fear Me

Nice shooting bows but all things being equal, I'd pick one of the metal ILF risers. (Tradtech, Morrison, or SKY)

Much more convenient.

Thanks for the info, most people I talk to love the Dalaa.

maxwell

Dalaa or Das or ilf all work pretty much the same.  Very versatile , and real nice shooters.  Take a look at the Dryad ilf with static limbs really nice stuff.

I am really interested in the foam core limbs.

I've got a set of W&W everest pro's on mine, they really spit an arrow out even if they are 4 yrs old and considered out dated. The Winex is a step up along with the Ex Power and Ex Prime. With that said I have a set of Border wood cores on order but they sell foam cores too. Morrison, Black Swan, Sky, Samick, MK and 3Rivers all have foam cores. Lots of options with these bows.

Love mine, especially with the Dryad Epic limbs on it talk about quiet!

saltwatertom

I love mine. It has made meat for me and lots of hours of enjoyable shooting. Won a few bets with it too.

Get one.

I would try one first. From everything i heard about them I thought it was going to be the holy grail of bows and when I tried it, it was not. It is a very fine shooting bow and i liked shooting it but there are many fine shooting bows out there that I like.
