Have any of you used Stinger Buzzcuts on game animals? If so what were your thoughts?

These fly real well and I have a few, just wanted to know others perspective.

Will they poke a good enough hole to kill something and find it?
Blessings,
Steve

well its a magnus product. i have never been dissappointed with any of thier product so far. thats what ted nudgent uses and he gets what appear to be good bloodtrails with an animal at the end of them
"SHOOT STRAIT" - something im still working twards

Lechwe

They are what I use and I have no complaints. I've taken whitetails and big black bears with them. I find they are easy to sharpen as well.

Good luck

Here are a couple of old post to get you started Steve.  I've used the plain 2 blade stingers with good success, but can't speak for the buzzcuts.

I have used the Buzzcuts and the original stinger and I think they are good heads. I second what Lechwe says, they are easy to sharpen.

AKCrazyhorse

I've used them during my time with a compound and have nothing but the highest praise for them.  When other broadheads wouldn't stand up to the task the buzzcuts put critters DOWN!  If only they made some really heavy heads....

Steve,
I've never used them, but Uncle Teddy seems to have success with them. He is talking them up all the time (but then he gets paid by Muzzy for doing that). He does seem to get complete pass through on most of what he shoots, at least on North American game. And he is always stating he only shoots a 49# bow.
I have always been a little leery of serrated type broadheads, preferring a clean cut as opposed to a jagged one. Since clean cuts should bleed better. But then knapped heads are basically serrated, and they have worked for thousands of years before steel existed.

All I can say is try them and see how they work for you. Just wouldn't suggest using them on thick skinned dangerous game. But they may work for them, wonder what Ted uses on dangerous African game? Don't recall him chasing any of them, mostly only plains game.

Pastor Steve,
I use them exclusively, I don't think you can do any better.

Pepper, if they killed that buck in your avatar pic, then they'd sure kill any of these swamp bucks around here...

thnx.

I think you will really like the Stinger Buzzcuts.  I shot a doe this fall with one and was very impressed with it.  Great penetration (full pass through) with a great blood trail from a 48# bow.  I've always used Bear Razorheads, and will continue to use them, but was just interested in trying a new head.

They are one of if not the best dollar for dollar heads on the market. Tough as nails with large wound channels.

Pastor Steve,

That was a Stinger. One of my better bucks.
Luck to you, and Happy New Year.

i used buzzcuts 2 years ago with m compound to get my first deer with abow. used 100gr 2 blade.

deer went down in less then 60 yds but the blood trail was horrible. i hit the heart and got a low exit but a pin drop trail.  tip bent also but i hunt some really rocky stuff and it did pass through the lower leg bone on exit.

they fly awsome and freaking penetrate though.  and if you break it they will replace it for free
