The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Good shot, and nice photo's.
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

A opossum in the neighbor's mail box is real funny.  We are friends, but its still nice to see someone stutter and stagger back when trying to pick up the daily bills...

Meats good and a possum hide would be nice. I had one the other night get in the doghouse but he was such a sitting duck in there trying to get out of the storm I just didn't have the heart.  nice shooting!....Phil

Many turkey embryos thank you!
Possums look like they are harmless, but do an extensive amount of damage to turkey nests by eating the eggs and destroying the nest.
I used to pass them up until I found that bit of information out, now they are on my hit list as well.

There are a bunch of turkeys on that tree farm and a lot of coyotes, coon, and opossum.  Go figure.

Papa Bear, yes he's dead!  That Talon smallgame head does a number on critters.

Coons, coyotes, and even skunks and occasionally armadillos get in on the nest destroying.
If you have lots of turkeys then your lucky, and that's probably one reason why there's lots of varmints around?

Have fun and put them all on your to do list.
