1. Shoot a few more out of state trad 3D events
2. Improve my shooting
3. Improve my health as in lose weight and get   my diabetes under better control, because it is now affecting my ability both in target shooting and bowhunting.
4. Have more fun... if that is possible.

I am a hunter at heart, and shoot longbow because I like to take it out to the woods, but I have never done a podium on a 3d not even 3rd so my mediocre goal is to place on a podium on a 3D shoot ,

Good luck to all of your goals and focus on them

Find any and all excuses to have bow in hand and fling as many arrows as needed to full fill the requirement.... And may be a few extra.    :archer2:

Hunt in the GORH with my father-in-law.( He got a longbow for christmas and I am going to bring him to.

Kill a turkey in Kansas and Ohio in the spring with the longbow I built with Doug Schlaybaugh.

A few whitetails here in Ohio with above longbow and hopefully one with my osage selfbow.

Another trip out west for either pronghorn in wyoming or elk in colorado with longbow.

Try to "turn" my hunting family back to traditional archery...I already got my father-in-law and my father and uncle are not far behind.

Yeah that!
Also I'd like to make a hunting weight selfbow out of an osage or a yew stave I have seasoned and ready.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

I am MS patient and I am suffering from a new stroke since september. I still am too ill too touch my bow since then.
I shoot 3D only. My new goal will be to enjoy the fact that I am healthy enough to shoot a tournament, no matter what my scores are. Health is the biggest gift you can get. Most of us (including myselve) don't realize that enough.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

My goal is to get into traditional shooting and to get a deer or 5 with my new equipment. Been bow hunting 24 years now it's time for a new challenge.

I have kill a ton of deer and hogs with my trad bows but this past season I blew out my elbow and missed most of the season. I have had surgery but face a long recovery. My goal is to be recuperated by bow season opener. Doctors say at least a year from now but I believe I will be ready by opening day. My goal is to shoot a bow again and harvest a deer or hog before 2011 is over.
Living and hunting with a traditional mindset.

posted on the other goal thread but forgot one.  i want to make a lot more 3d shoots this year.  really only did a couple last year, and REALLY missed it.
is it September yet??

This year for me was all about giting experience.  I took every good shot opprotunity i got on deer i wanted and filled all my tags(my goals was to kill number 2 n 3 with trad gear).  I more than met my goal though all my deer were squirts n does.  I also learned WAYYYYYY more than i knew last yr.  But i put in the work after eatin tags for 3 yrs in a row.  Im in the prime of my young hunting career.  Next year.....to shoot a decent racked buck.

Walk 200 miles in the wood with my bow fling arrows
Archery is: Getting as far away from the target as you can, and still hit it.
Bowhunting is: Getting as close to the target as you can, and not miss!

See my little brother get his first turkey, get my first turkey, kill a pig at Ray Hammonds. I'd also like to do a nocturnal sit in the woods; not to kill anything, just see what's out and about at that time...

My goal is to simply kill a deer with my bow.  Same goal I have every year here in PA.
