Merry Christmas all!

Just wanted to post a great big thank you to Vermonster13 (David Knipes) and Maddog archery's Mike Mecredy.  I entered Jacob into the Howard Hill youth bow give away back in November or so and he won along with 3 other lucky kids.  The bow showed up about two weeks ago but I didn't give it to him until this morning.  It was the first present he opened and he wanted to know who David and Mike were on the name tag "from" slot so I explained about the contest and that he won which made it real cool for him.  He was real excited!

We strung it up and I snapped a couple pictures.  In the first one he was just pulling it back to his chest but in the second one I explained how to anchor and he did better.  It is almost too heavy for him but that's good.  After some practice and more growing, by spring he'll probably be a perfect match with it.

So... Jacob sends a great big thank you out to the two tradgang santa's and I've got to add an enthusiastic second to it!

Thanks Dave and Mike!  Merry Christmas to you and to everyone at Tradgang.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Thank God Jacob looks more like mom!!!...lol J/K

Nice!!

Thanks for the pictures Dave. I'm sure it won't be as long as you think before Jacob will be telling you he needs more poundage. They grow up fast!!

Ask me how I know...lol

Mike and Vermonster13 are tops in my book.

Merry Christmas!!

God bless,Mudd

That is a great message of thanks, but your son has better form than I do already, and I've only been doing it for 54 years,LOL:

He looks like a natural.
