I have both and have shot both. I blew out my elbow back in Nov and can't shoot a bow at all. Please just enjoy what you shoot. I have always shot trad and now I can't shoot anything. I have had surgery and may be able to shoot again in a year or two or never. It is a pure pleasure to shoot so just enjoy the moment and appreciate each arrow and make each arrow count no matter whay bow you enjoy shooting.

Yeah! Them biscuit eaters aren't going anywhere.

It would be like me giving away one of my kids to let one go these days.

I shot the Horne Brushbow and ordered one immediately. I paid for the Brushbow with the money I got when I sold my Blacktail Recurve and Black Widow Recurve.

Now I own two Horne T/D Brushbows and am going to order a Maddog Mutt in a lighter weight.

I love the R/D longbows.

Yes, you will love the longbow, but hang on to the recurve. You will from time to time still enjoy shooting it. I have hunted exclisively with the long bow since the 90's, but still take out the recurve now and again and fling a few arrows. Its all good!

I'm with you Widowbender!!

I just shoot some better than others and the ones I shoot best happen to have longer straighter limbs.

They seem to forgive my mess ups better than the shorter limbed recurves.

But I still enjoy shooting all kinds/styles of bows.

68" is a good "minimum" length, {N/N}, for a 28" draw. 69-70" are about the cat's meow. Especially with the hunting weight Hill bows.
