aluminum arrow insert help please!!!

i have some easton game getters and i left them full length and just hot glued the inserts in and ahave had about 4 of the inserts come out when pulling the arrows out of the target. can someone exsplain step by step on how to glue in aluminum insers corectly. or point me toward a tutoral.

Before gluing the inserts in. Try a q tip with some denatured alcohol to clean the inside of the shaft.

Are you using a clean heat source, like a torch? Candles and such make the glue weak.

im using a blow torch from my dads garage.

J-B Weld .... Clean the surfaces, inside and out..

The hotmelt will work too if everything is clean and dry..

Personally, I like epoxy..

Take a 22 calaber wire brush and score the inside up a bit. Only time I have had them come loose is if I hit something hard.All I shoot is aluminumn shafts and thats alot of shooting.
