Got two pics two days in a row(12-15,16) of this boy. He's still holding both sides. For now that is. Hopefully he'll keep em for a couple weeks so I can try to get an arrow into him.

This pic is of the second day. Then the turkeys filled my card up. Not sure how many other times he came through here. The pic is taken about 20 yards off a cut corn field.

I was actually surprised to see him this close to a field only 2-weeks after gun season. The top pic was taken at 5:07 pm and the bottom pic was taken at 4:46pm. Alot of daylight left with those times!  :goldtooth:
My stand is actually right over the hill behind him. I have to move it though cause the wind in that spoil doesn't like me there. I'm going to have to put it on the field edge. We shall see.

Oh my, looks like a dead deer walking. That is dead once you get after him. Best to you.

Outstanding.

My season ended yesterday at sunset watching a "roundhead" and his/her mommy in range.  Very late for such a little one.  I said "Merry Christmas" and watched the tails disappear and then I headed for home.  Maybe in two or three years I'll see the little scrapper again.

Hope Ma educates well about cars and coyotes but kind of skips over hunters.  ;-)

I hear ya! But it really doesn't matter unless your going to enter a deer into the books. I've never cared to enter any of my deer so if they come off,so be it. A good taxidermist can get em back where they belong. My 8 year old nephew just shot a good buck the other day and both sides fell off when it hit the ground. It happens!

Longbowben and Leatherneck...

I'm going to give it a shot. Just hope I don't see a big deer and look down to see two spots on his head.  :scared:
This is an evening spot and I work afternoons. I think I might be a little sick Thur. afternoon.
